Most clients have a similar procedure for setting up your servers. The example walkthrough here applies to Outlook Express 6, a free email client from Microsoft.
Make sure you have your username and password ready.
Step 1: Start Outlook Express, Select Tools then Accounts.

Step 2: Select 'Add', then 'Mail...'

Step 3: Enter your name as you would like to displayed to others.

Step 4: Enter your email address. If you are not using your own domain, this will be the same as your username. Otherwise, enter your email address of preference.

Step 5 - POP3 Users: Leave 'POP3' selected and enter the addresses as shown below.

Step 5 - IMAP Users: Select IMAP from the selection box and enter the details as shown below.

Step 6: In the Account Name box, enter your MailCore username including the domain (after the '@'). Enter your password in the second box. Do not select the SPA box.

Step 7: Nearly there! Click 'Finish' then follow the next steps carefully.

Step 8: Select 'Properties'

Step 9: On the 'Servers' tab, select the 'My server requires authentication' box as shown here

All done. Click 'Send and Receive' to test your connection.
